This restaurant is a diamond in the rough. So many Italian restaurants around here are just all the same selection of ziti and ravioli and pizza. They have some truly spectacular and unexpected stuff on the menu. And they do the traditional favorites well too.

They have been operating here for as long as I can remember. My parents took me here when I was young, and I remember being wow'd by it even as a kid. And now I love it even more. This is really a classy spot with some absolutely first rate cuisine.

I went here on a date, and it was a transcendent experience. Yes, the word "good" or "great" would not really suffice. Their food is beautiful to look at, and the preparation is out of this world--anything you order seems to melt in your mouth. Seafood is definitely one of their talents. I have the ravioli, and it was beyond excellent. Also, try not to stuff yourself (yes, it'll be hard!), because at the end of the meal you can have them bring around the dessert cart, which is full of goodies! We had the canoli, and it was hands down the best canoli I have ever tasted. I will be daydreaming about this place the next time I go out for Italian (at my usual spot, which compared to this is hardly a restaurant), and planning to find an excuse for another visit!
