 Koenig's Restaurant Reviews

One of the best restaurants on Long Island. The first time I ate here I was here for a party. The catering was just amazing. I dreamed about the food for days afterward! The service too was just fantastic. It seemed like my glass was never empty. We've been back three or four times since, and each time we have had the same amazing service, even though we weren't with a party. The food remains top of the line. The most tender schnitzel in the world!

Koenig’s Restaurant is a suave place in NYC to be. I’m there all the time, with either friends or family. They are a great place to be and I love staying there! I totally recommend them!

I needed a nice catering service for the office just round Christmas time. I had been given some lists of the foods that were provided for the event and Koenig's Restaurant was my first choice. They were able to make some delicacies that were one of a kind with the ingredients that I had asked for. They also gave some free drinks to all the people that were invited at the event which was really thoughtful and kind of them. The price was reasonable and I will most likely use the Koenig's Reastaurant next time that I will have an upcoming event too.

Wow! That was our first impression when we dined at Koenig’s last week. The best German fare you can find in Long Island, we were overjoyed with the stein served in classic Oktoberfest style! The food is great and a little on the costlier side, however, for a once in a while evening, the prices can be taken lightly!
The ambience is dazzling and the music is awesome. Unlike the jazz bands that continue playing with no room for conversation, the light musical troupes here, ensure that you are entertained but have enough space to converse too.
I’ll be coming here again, that is when I’ve saved up enough for a classic evening. I must say, if you have the money and are wondering about which restaurant to choose, Koenig’s is the best place with exclusive fine dining avenues. I’m totally in love with the hotel.

Koenig's Restaurant is a little more expensive then the average restaurant, but it should be. It is dining at it's finest. If you want to experience a little bit of Germany in the way of food then this is a must try restaurant.

We went for dinner. I had the Bavarian Beef Goulash which came with noodles, and my wife had sauteed calves liver. We both started out with an appetizer of potato pancakes, and continued on with salad and lobster bisque soup.

The food was delectable, and the service was really fantastic. at almost fifty dollars a person by the time we were done, we can't go very often, but we will for sure be going back.

I love this restaurant. They are family owned and operated and you can always tell they care about those who have helped make them the restaurant they are today. The German food is some of the best you will find in New York, and prices are friendly for all budgets. There are tons of great specials to choose from as well.

What a pleasure it is to find some fine German cuisine on Long Island. This place is pricey, but it's delicious. I ordered the Jaeger Schnitzel with delicious wine sauce, onions, mushrooms and bacon ... the veal was amazingly tender and cooked perfectly. My husband had the Bratwurst and I had a bite and it was top notch! They serve seafood here too (of course), and we ordered the clams to start out, and I can definitely say they do seafood right here too.

This is a fine dining location, and you will pay a pretty large bill, but keep in mind that it's German food, and you'll be hard pressed to find it at a low price and still get an authentic flavor. I did recently find out there are regular specials where you can get a full meal for around $16.00 however, and we are definitely going back for that!
