When you think Italian dining, you think of a nice quiet meal at a low-lit restaurant with amazing gourmet food, right? Okay, so it's not always perfectly quiet here, it's a family favorite, BUT aside from that, it fits the bill perfectly! It's comfortable, well furnished, and very nice to sit down in. And the food? One of the most popular places in Floral Park. I ate here for the first time when my mother organized a party here for me to celebrate my graduation. It was a big surprise--this is a pricey place and I didn't think we could afford it! The food was unforgettable, especially their calamari--so light and crispy! The waiters are very attentive and will make you feel appreciated. I look forward to when I can come back here. Don't know when it will be; not soon enough! Caponata bruscetta; that's what I ordered! We've only gone here once, but it's already somewhere I'm excited to go back to. I liked this place from the moment we walked in the doors and saw the cozy little bar and the nice atmosphere. It's a family restaurant; a lot of people were here with their kids, but they weren't loud and it is still a place that we could enjoy a quiet meal. The menu has so many tempting entries, and I know that I'll probably be trying something new each time we go back for quite some time.

Any drawbacks? None that I could tell. As best I can tell, this is a new location for an old restaurant, but they've had some time to settle in. Our friends who recommended the place to us tell us there was a shaky period, but it seems to be over. It's a wonderful Italian restaurant! Share Your Review
