I'm starting to think my company is a bit old fashioned since we are still doing our summits in person instead of using webcasting or something like that, but this place was actually so magnificent it reminded me of why we still do our meetings in person like this. Most of our staff is on Long Island or across the water in NYC, so we only had to have a few people come in from remote offices. Most of the expenses went toward renting the space at the LI Conference Center and ordering food. This is a truly majestic mansion with a wonderful conference room. It is just a beautiful, elegant atmosphere, and it is perfect if your function calls for some degree of stateliness. This was an all hands meeting, our second, but we've been doing so well that in many ways it was an awards ceremony for our employees.
