The Mixing Bowl isn't closed "most of the time," it's closed, period. Don't swing by looking for it to be open during proper hours, there are no hours anymore. The shop shut down because it wasn't particularly good and the management sucked. C Peterson from Roosevelt, NY on Jul 9, 2012
It's too bad this place was so poorly taken care of, considering that the food was really not bad. And I did like the atmosphere. I won't really miss it that much though. Mixing Bow Eatery is a decent place to chill out with your friends. It is, however, closed most of the time and you’d better call up before you plan an evening out. Overall, it loses three stars for poor management and a shoddy interior. E Sparks from Baldwin, NY on Sep 10, 2012
