Our daughter has been taking classes with this tutoring agency for a few months now and she's been showing tremendous improvements. She's in the second grade, and we were worried for a while there she wasn't taking to reading. I know it's a tough thing for a lot of kids to learn, but they seem to have helped her to finally make that little mental leap between it being really hard and being something relatively simple. She still isn't very enthused about it, but the tutors recommended to me that she try reading different things, and that she just hasn't found anything she enjoys/which interests her yet.
