I like The Hook. They don't serve huge portions, but then again, I don't need huge portions. I'm a 130 pound woman. I don't eat like a pig. Hey, I think this restaurant is pretty good. The portions aren't that big, I agree on that point with the critics. But they are SO good! I've never been disappointed with the food here. And I have no idea why so many people say that they're understaffed. I don't think I share the typical dinner hours with most other people though, so maybe I come in at better times when they're less crowded. I was not a big fan. To me the restaurant seemed like it was understaffed a bit, and the portions were quite small given the high prices. I guess that's kind of typical at expensive restaurants, but I've been to enough which served me reasonable amounts for my money that I've come to expect more. The food itself wasn't bad. I just would have been happier had I gone elsewhere. Share Your Review
