A really good find my wife made while she was out with her friends the other month. We've gone back multiple times in the meantime; we are both major sushi fans! Prices are low, service is top of the line, and the food gets high marks too. And I just love their tempura ice cream! Like fried ice cream you get at a Tex-Mex place, only better!

Hibachi steak is one of life's most delicious, wonderful joys. Sushi Ya is pricey, but I've never been to a Hibachi house that wasn't. It's about comparable to what I've paid at other locations. I highly recommend the scallops!

OMG Hibachi! The most wonderful thing in the world - alas, sadly, one of the most expensive as well, but what can you do. I came here with all of my school friends for our special dinner before prom. I figured since my parents were forking the bill, might as well go somewhere really nice! We hadn't actually been to this restaurant, but it was the only one that was conveniently located and offered Hibachi. Several of my friends had never had Hibachi, and they loved it! It also was one of the better Hibachi steak houses I had been too, so I was very pleased with my meal. I got the steak and seafood combo with the scallops. I love their fried rice. Amazing! And the sauces are so good! I wish I could come here again, but I probably won't be able to before I head off to college. If you live here though, you should totally go!

Sushi Ya is a really good restaurant. My only regret is that I can't afford to come here that often. Which isn't to say they are unreasonably priced. Not at all. They are very typically priced Hibachi food. I just love love love Hibachi. There is nothing tastier than well made Japanese style fried rice. And that sauce they serve with the seafood - nom nom! I can't get enough of that! The steak is awesome. They know what the word "rare" means.

Chefs aren't as funny/entertaining as some we've seen at other restaurants, but I can't deny that they're talented, both at making food and doing it in an impressive way. The food is outstanding, and it's fun watching it be prepared. You'd think this would help me to master my own fried rice recipe at home, but I just can't figure out what that one sauce is they use--the orange one--which seems to be the key to the whole thing. I've asked them and they won't tell me! They always just say it's "secret sauce," or "fish sauce," or "rice sauce," or something equally unhelpful.
One day I'll get it down. Until then, I'll just have to keep coming back.

I think I'm one of the only people in the world who doesn't come to Hibachi steak houses because I like to watch the chefs; I've never really cared less about the entertainment angle heheh, I just like the food. They do it right here. Juicy, tender steak, always cooked just the way you tell them, tender scallops, good chicken too if you go for that. I really like the sauce which comes with the seafood and I use it on my steak too. The fried rice is amazing too. I wish I could figure out how to make this stuff at home. It seems next to impossible to find out what ingredients are needed to make Japanese fried rice though.

This is a Hibachi steak house, and as such, it can be considered fine dining, though the sushi rolls and other items are less expensive. You'd be remiss not to get a Hibachi dinner though. The steak and scallop meal is delicious and comes with fried rice and vegetables and the other elements of a tasty Hibachi meal. It's entertaining watching the chefs cook; I would come in here and eat all the time if I could. Oh, and you can get tempura fried ice cream here, which is awesome.
