One of my preferred pizza restaurants, of which I have several. Sometimes I go somewhere else just because they can be so crowded on certain nights, but otherwise they are my top preference. They give you a ton of food and you don't have to spend a lot of money, and the pizza is classic New York goodness.

This is one of several Grimaldi’s locations throughout the area—the main one is in Brooklyn, and I’ve heard it is excellent, though I have never been. This is the only one I’ve eaten at, but it’s wonderful, and I am really glad that they’re doing well enough that they can have several restaurants. They have this really awesome happy hour deal if you sit at the bar! You can get a personal pizza for $5. Cool that you can get discounts on foods and not just drinks. The Italian sausage one is my fave.

This is a really famous spot downtown--all the tourists go there, and whenever people visit me, they want to go there. At first I use to drive them all the way downtown, but then I found out that there was this other location! So much more convenient--and basically the same experience. So now I bring people here instead if they aren't picky about the location, and they love it!

I'd been to Grimaldi's in Brooklyn, but I had no idea there was a second location until I drove by it! For some reason I didn't expect the location here to live up to the one in Brooklyn, but I was wrong--it was just as exceptional, and just as cheap! Grimaldi's is a local legend, and this outlet should be just as well known as the famous one under the Brooklyn Bridge.

Grimaldi's is the famous New York pizzeria chain. The most famous location is the one which is underneath the Brooklyn Bridge, but this location is no exception in terms of quality. I believe that Grimaldi's has won awards for its food, which is exceptional. The deals are exceptional too - if you order a small pizza for $12.00, you're still going to get a lot of food (more than I'd get for a medium at some other chains for a few dollars more). It's a lot of fun to go to the Brooklyn Bridge location if you've never been there, especially if you're a tourist, but I'm really glad there's an outlet in Garden City too. Best thing is, the line is a bit shorter than it is downtown. I still have to wait though - it's just that good. So try and get there a little earlier than you hope to eat. That way you won't mind the wait.
