Public Storage has been a mixed experience for me. When I first started out with them, they were offering me the lowest rate I could find. Within several years, it was no longer the lowest rate, which tells me that they were raising my rates arbitrarily, and it had nothing to do with market values or whatever. This is typical as far as I know, so not much I can do about that. The lady who is on the other end of the customer service line (usually seems to be the same woman) is nice enough. I don't think she's the owner, but she is friendly, conversational, and helpful. The premises themselves seem secure and well looked after.
So good points - nice customer service lady, nice premises.
Bad points - rates. but what are you gonna do? Good luck finding a landlord who won't continuously raise your storage fees.
