As Sharon T pointed out, this is an IHOP, not a local restaurant. IHOP is awesome though, and brings back nostalgic memories for me. For some reason any time my high school classes went anywhere for food during the day (yes, we had these odd little food field trips sometimes, generally during our senior year), we'd all go to IHOP. The restaurant is open 24 hours a day as far as I know, and the food is great.

It's not overly obvious from the way this posting is labeled, but this is an IHOP. Originally when I drove there, I thought it would be an independently owned pancake house (although I believe it is a locally owned franchise). I ate there anyway, despite this disappointment, and was pretty happy with it. IHOP seems to run a little higher (price wise) than other similar restaurants, but they are open 24/7 (yay!), and still have that nice diner quality. I like the cheese sticks. And of course, the pancakes. They do a nice chicken fried steak as well.

Pancakes, pancakes and more pancakes. That's what I got when the family went to North Shore Norwich Pancake House, and what made it extra special was that we went for dinner, when we really wanted breakfast. Pancakes were big, and fluffy, and satisfied our needs and desires.
