For many this weekend is full of Easter activities with Easter Egg hunts, family dinners, and church events. The Easter Bunny may be on his way, but that doesn't mean this weekend is completely about colored eggs and chocolate bunnys. One way to escape for a little while and enjoy a great production is to check out the BayWay Arts Center in East Islip for Aladdin.
The Broad Hollow Theater Company is putting on this wonderful Middle Eastern tale of love and comedy from March 27th to March 30th. This ia great way to spend some time with the children away from the many different events and places to be. Tickets to the events are $12.00 at the door or $10 in advance, and the show is at 2:00.
Everyone loves this great timeless tale of Aladdin. The characters jump out at you on the live theater and it is just as fun to watch live than in the animated version. The songs are energetic, the portrayals are full of passion and the story continues to be timeless.
While you still have to think about Easter, it is good to escape to Agrabah and fly on a magic carpet, make a wish on a lamp, or just have fun with a street beggar.
