I haven't actually had any issues while banking with Wachovia. The lines can be long on some days but the tellers are pretty fast at getting through everyone, and there's usually someone who comes along and asks whether anyone needs to do something simple (like just a deposit or just a withdrawal). So sometimes you can skip the line. So why three stars? It's a big bank, and it does treat its customers like numbers in many ways. It can be really frustrating if you have to work through some kind of a complaint. Plus Wachovia treated my neighbors really badly; they lost their house in a Wachovia foreclosure which was handled really badly, probably illegally--but with a huge company, there was nothing they could do.
