I am really sensitive about animals and how us people treat them. It is inhumane for someone to try and harm animals, as they are weaker than us and we should protect them, rather than endanger their survival. In West islip there is the Veterinary Medical Center Of Long Island, where there are a lot of animals, either for treatment or having found some kind of shelter from people's lack of care. There you can have your pet tested and treated accordingly. They specialize in all kinds of pets and animals, even the most rare of them. There is the department of oncology, which is really modern and features some really experienced and well trained vets. I have visited the Veterinary Medical Center Of Long Island once for an emergency but my pet was treated with such dignity and respect that I can totally guarantee for their services.
