Man, I had the same shoddy luck with Verizon as this other guy. I went in there and they sold me on this plan which sounded totally affordable and awesome, and then it turned out that was some kind of special which expired like a month later, and no one warned me. I couldn't afford the new plan, so there I was realizing I wasted my money. Thankfully I figured it out just in time to return the phone, but it was literally down to the last day when I ran in there with it to get my refund.
What a waste of time.

I needed a new cell phone plan and wanted to save money. So I went to Verizon to ask about plans, and they sold me on this plan which was only going to be $15 a month (I barely use my phone; seriously, I don't need more than that!). Everything seemed like it was fine for a couple of months, and then suddenly I get a bill for $30. I'm like WTF? So I call them and ask them about it, and they're like, "Oh, you were on a promotion and it expired. Now your bill is $30 a month." I don't remember anyone telling me this. So, I go to return the phone and at least get my money back for the unit itself, and find out that the time in which I could have returned the phone has also expired. See, it was bait and switch. So I'm canceling my plan but I'm stuck with this useless phone and I'm out $30+$15+$15+$20. Great.
