They've got that amazing venue nearby ... can't remember if it has the same name or not. Anyway, I was there for a wedding last year, which was how I found them and their incredible food. They have a terrifically unique menu and everything here is gourmet deliciousness. I love it and I am so happy I discovered them the way I did. If I ever needed catering, I would totally use them. I just had to come here to eat after I saw it out the window one day. It looked like a very exciting restaurant--and it was! "Trumpets on the Bay." It's such a lovely name, isn't it? I admit it was the name that drew me here ... I wanted to see what kind of a restaurant had such an intriguing name. I'm really glad now that the name caught my attention, because it really is a very lovely place to eat. The outdoor seating is fantastic, and you can really relax here and get into the atmosphere of Long Island. Their menu is wonderful. Some of the best seafood in the area with such an elegant touch! This restaurant is one of the nicest finds I have ever made anywhere. This is just one of the most charming locations ever. Eating outside here is a complete must. You will just love the surroundings. The food is excellent, and not at all overpriced, as I have heard some people suggest. Some people just don't know gourmet when they find it. I like visiting Eastport. It's a pleasant, small town, with a delightful atmosphere. Trumpets is a fine dining restaurant with a beautiful view, and it fits right into that lovely atmosphere. Their food is top of the line, much better than many competing restaurants with similar menus and prices. I would recommend trying their halibut. I also really like the rice that comes with the fish. And get that cake with the berries on it for dessert. Lots and lots of berries. Share Your Review
