I had boring hair my whole life. You know the type - hair that is always limp and lays totally flat and lifeless and dull. No shine, no body. Finally I thought maybe it was my haircut that I could fault and not simply the fates, so I went to Tribeca and begged them to salvage me from my limp hair nightmare. The lady who worked with me was named Becca. She introduced me to some fabulous conditioning products, and gave me a layered hair cut. With the layers, my hair now has more body and "fluffs" out a bit, so it doesn't just sit there on my head. It looks so much better and frames my face nicely. I will go back to see Becca again whenever I want a change.

I've had good hairdressers and bad hairdressers here, so by now I've learned everyone's names, and I just request my favorite ladies when I schedule, make an appointment, and come in at the best time. There are two women who work here that do an outstanding job, so I always make it a point to deal with either of them. They not only do great with my haircut (my hair is short, so getting it right is tough), but also have given me beautiful curly perms and done since nice work with my hair color too.

I had highlights put in my hair here for the winter months, because I hate how dark and greasy my hair looks when the sun isn't as high in the sky. Winter hair! Ick! Now my winter hair looks a lot like my summer hair. The highlights look very natural and they inject a bit of life and light back into my hair. This makes me feel less cold in a weird way too, because I wake up and look in the mirror and feel like I still have the summer bounce in my step.
