When we bought our house, the dining room and living room were two different spaces, with a wall between them and a doorway. They were nice as distinct rooms, but we wanted a bigger feeling of space. Plus, our family often spends time in both rooms, and we wanted to be able to all talk and spend time together in both at once. So we contracted with Touch of Class Builders to tear out the wall and combine the two rooms.
The result is as we envisioned it; our house feels much roomier now, and it's easier to talk between the "two" rooms, which are now one big room. It is a lot better this way, and you can't even tell that the house wasn't constructed to be set up in this manner in the first place.
