 Tom's II Kitchen Reviews
5 out of 5 stars Donald L from Plainview, NY on Apr 1, 2013
For some reason it took me a while to realize this was a Chinese restaurant. It doesn't have one of those typical names like "Dragon Moon Palace" or "Chinese Garden Delight" or so on. Hahah. The name "Tom's Kitchen" put me in mind of country cooking or something. So it took me ages before I actually went in there, and then I was really surprised when I did get in and discovered it was a Chinese restaurant.

Turned out that it was actually a really fortunate discovery, since it turns out that this is the best Chinese food I have actually found since I started looking for good Chinese cuisine on LI. It really is a hidden little gem. I love their seafood dishes and soups in particular. Their food is really flavorful, and it goes down pretty well too. No weird digestion issues like I would normally get eating Chinese food at a typical restaurant which uses oils that aren't really good for you. I am so glad I found this place. Definitely give them a try if you are searching for some really good chow!
