We were driving along and my wife pointed out the window and said we should try this restaurant. We'd been out for a while so I was pretty much up for trying whatever. I was so hungry. The food turned out to be pretty tasty and the location was perfect. The bill was steep, but it was a nice evening and the perfect conclusion to a nice day, so we were both happy. We will come back again.

What a good place this is. It's upper-end, so your bill will not be cheap. But neither will the food and neither will the service. You are getting the best of the best here. You'll see it from the moment you step inside and the seating host greets you. The staff here are amazing; they do everything to make you feel like an honored guest. I can't say enough about the food either. The seafood is so fresh it feels like it just jumped out of the sea and onto your plate. Amazing recipes too!

Well, I love seafood and whenever I am in Bergen Avenue I make sure that I grab a bite at the Dockside Cafe. If you want to take a look at the interior and the menu, you can visit their official web site, which is www.thedocksidecafe.com and it is really cool. I love the clams and a perfect crab salad that it features. The portions would never be characterised as gigantic, but they are decent and they make you fill your stoach with some quality food. In terms of taste, the Dockside Cafe is excellent. The ingredients that they use are really good, it is evident. The fish and seafood are fresh and so are all the veggies that are used in the salads or side dishes. It is worth paying a visit at the Dockside Cafe and have a tasty meal.

I like the menu at The Dockside Cafe. There are a lot of interesting entrees here that you wouldn't necessarily find just anywhere. The food itself is good, but not amazing, which is why I have to rank this restaurant as only average. If it had been about half as expensive I'd have been seriously impressed. Good location, attentive staff, almost everything ideal ... but for $30 and up for a single person to eat, I expect more in terms of portions and flavor. So, is it good? Yes. A great value though? Not necessarily. Tastes differ though. Try it at least once. You might like it a lot - a lot of people do, and they have a lot of regular patrons.
