If you're looking for antique furniture for your house for an old-fashioned look, this is the place to shop. We love the pieces we've purchased here. Looking for some really cool home decor with an old fashioned twist? The 1670 house is a furniture store with a little something extra. You won't find the usual standard modern furniture here - you'll find some classic furniture which can contribute some beauty and atmosphere to any historic Long Island home. I have bought ... a kitchen table/chairs set, a patio set, two bedroom sets, a desk, and a small table to go next to my couch here. I think that's everything. We wanted a vintage look for our new home. We looked for furniture in a number of stores before a new friend told us about the 1670 House and showed us some of the cool chairs, tables and dressers she'd purchased there for her big old country house. We went to the 1670 House with high expectations and they were rewarded! We bought a whole kitchen set there, and we have our eye on a lovely bedroom set to replace the one we have right now, but we need to save up a bit of cash first. Nice place to shop for furniture, especially if you are looking for something in a classic old style instead of contemporary furniture.
