I seriously feel like I have the most complicated taxes in the world. I was terrified of doing them by myself, but then I found out there was a tax place that does nothing but trading-related taxes, and I was so relieved. Leonard has been amazing to work with! He has really simplified things for me and explained to me what's going on with my taxes. I thought they were going to be a lot worse than they turned out to be, but he helps me keep the costs down. He is so worth it!

Some of the best tax prep services I've ever used all around, and all the more so because they can help me with my tax situation, which of course is pretty specific. Being a trader is and making money is tough; keeping it is tougher. The IRS has some pretty severe taxes they levy on people like me, but these guys help me get the max refund every year.

Taxes are a horrible mess for any self employed person, but let me tell you, you haven't seen hellishly complicated until you've tried daytrading. I actually had a profitable trading year (yay; how many people can say that, ever?), and realized only at the close of the year that something I should have thought harder about before I started trading was how much money I was going to owe the tax man.
Leonard helped me sort it out and figure out the best way to pay my FX taxes (they offer you a couple of options, neither of them great). I was shocked how much money I had to pay the IRS from my trading winnings, but I know I'd have paid them more if I hadn't had Leonard's advice to get me pointed in the right direction. At least thisi year I'll know just how little I'll actually be making from my trading. Not a happy thought, but no more nasty surprises, and guess what - I'm getting Leonard to do my taxes again.

Thank goodness for this place!
I only started trading this past year, and being brand new to the world of trading, I knew one thing from the off, which was that trading related taxes are a total nightmare. I tried reading up on trading taxes on the net, but the sheer amount of confusion and misinformation out there is overwhelming.
Then I saw there was a place called "Taxes For Traders!" I got in touch with them and met Leonard, who was totally great to talk to right from the beginning. Leonard is an actual trader, so it was easy to connect to him and build trust. We even gave each other some trading tips and had a great time talking about making money - and hanging onto it. He managed to figure out the best way for me to file and save as much money as I could. The taxes were still hefty, but there's no getting around that. At least I know I have paid everything I owe and that I can survive an audit!
