Portions are large, which I love. Food has MSG in it I'm pretty sure though, which irritates me. Their menu said they don't use it, but I swear they do. The food tastes good though, and when I need a burst of energy while I'm studying for exams, it's perfect for my late night exam prep.

This Chinese restaurant in Franklin Square is among the best in the area, for eat-in or takeout. Their prices are low, but the food isn't low in quality at all. It's really good, especially the meat, which isn't all chewy and tough like you get at some restaurants. This is important for me because I have TMJ, and chewing stuff which is challenging is NOT fun, since it gives me headaches.

Like everybody else in the world, Chinese food is a sticky thing for me. I either really love it, or really hate it. It seems like you can either do Chinese food right or dead wrong, and not much in between. Sunrise Chinese Kitchen does it right! Their food isn't too greasy, it's easy to digest, and I'm pretty sure they use fresh, healthy ingredients.

As a Chinese cuisine expert, I am very picky when I go out to have Chinese Food. The Sunrise Chinese Kitchen is good but not anything great. I hate it that the food is Americanized. But I guess that is important when you build a global brand. Whatever, I’ll give this place 3 stars – not more.

This is quite a tasty Chinese restaurant, and I am a picky eater, so when I say that, I'm being quite serious. Usually I have trouble with the oils in Chinese food, but I never have any digestion issues after I eat here. The sauces are really good too, tangy but not too tangy. The meat is nice and tender and they do great with not overcooking the veggies.
