My kids dragged me into Subway last week because ... well, children have dubious tastes in food for some reason. I guess when you're younger, fast food seems strangely exciting. I actually remember thinking Subway was better than it is years ago too, when I was young, but maybe it's because it really has taken a downturn over time. Regardless, I don't know if any other fast food chain is THIS cheap with ingredients. They don't use too many to begin with, and the ones they do use are so bad. Gray lettuce, like a quarter slice of cheese, skimping on the meat, some kind of wonderbread white bread crap. Ugh.
