I really don't like this chain. I was upset when I moved into the area and found out that this is what we have for a coffee house. It just doesn't do it for me. I don't know about any other options in the area though.

I work as a tutor and have to meet my clients somewhere, and the library isn't always a convenient location. Starbucks is open later and is closer to some of my clients' homes, which makes it easier for them to come and see me. So I am grateful to the coffee house for letting me do my sessions here. It helps me stay in business. I would still prefer a more comfortable coffee house with, well, better coffee, but in general I can't complain. It's a pretty average place.

Have you ever seen that YouTube video of the Arlington Rap? And that last line, about the "Starbucks and the Starbucks and the Starbucks and the Starbucks ..." Well, it really is like a perpetual plague in every city I've ever been to, whether it's Arlington, VA or Bridgehampton, Long Island. In fact, it's like there's one on every block on the entire island, and all of them are equally bad.
