After ten years, the mattress my wife and I were using finally gave out. It was an innerspring mattress, and what got to it in the end was mold. We ended up replacing it with a foam mattress from Sleepy's. I had never known anything about foam mattresses before, and when the employee first showed them to us, I was surprised. I was like, "How can this provide enough support?"

But we tried it out, and it felt just as firm as our old mattress. It's lightweight, and easy to lift up and clean under to prevent mold. The fact that it is made of foam and is breathable also makes it less susceptible. I feel confident it's going to last a lot longer than the old mattress did. I love that it weighs less.
