I am posting this for a friend who, understandably, doesn't want to post it herself. She needed to attend counseling as part of a court-ordered thing as an alternative to doing time. Her kleptomania has been a lifelong problem. She says the sessions have helped her out, and while she was initially skeptical about attending them, she's glad she's doing it, and that it's been good to be able to talk to other people who have had to deal with the same problems she has, which is literally an addiction. I'm very glad for her that she was given the chance to rehabilitate instead of just facing punishment for what she does. She's a dear, sweet lady, and addiction is a serious issue.
