I like a lot of things about this restaurant, but not everything I wanted to like. I was thrilled when I sat down, because the atmosphere is so wonderful. It was one of the better sit-down meals I can remember anytime this past year. I was surprised by the bill though. Not because they calculated it wrong, just because I hadn't really been thinking about how much was accumulating there. So the price being so high is a bit of a deterrent for me. This restaurant is just catering to people a little above my status I guess. But I look forward to coming back here for my anniversary meal with my girlfriend later this year. I've heard other people in my circles talk about this place as a negative, but I have nothing but good things to say about it. Yes, it's a pricey spot. And it is in a gorgeous location--absolutely a wonderful place to sit and relax on the harbor in Greenport--but that is just one of the many good things about the restaurant. The food is very good. It may not be for every palate--it is very subtle and simple. But a discerning person will love it. Get the duck with quinoa. It is incredible! Share Your Review
