I am in love with the Sanibel Chophouse! I came here with a date, not knowing what to expect (of the restaurant or of my date), but both were wonderful! If you really want to impress someone with your good taste, bring them here. Wonderful atmosphere, amazing food ... best service I've had in ages. I couldn't have asked for more--except maybe to come back again as soon as possible!

One of the best fine dining restaurants in the area - and the best restaurant in Lynbrook altogether. I love the spinach and artichoke dip, and the steak is superb.

This is one delicious restaurant! It's fine dining, so be prepared for fine dining prices when you arrive. Especially if you get seafood or steak. I agree with the reviewer who said the portions could have been larger, but this is unfortunately a common feature of "fine dining" establishments, and I've grown used to it. The wait staff were amazing, with suggestions on what to order and willingness to accommodate special orders. I'll be excited to come back here when I can.

Sanibel Chophouse is located in lynbrook. It is a nice little restaurant, especially suitable for family meals and dinners. I know we go there for our family reunions every now and then and we have a great time. We order seafood pretty much all the time. The shrimps are a specialty of the restaurant, cooked with curry and veggies, The salmon is also pretty tasty and the portions are quite generous. There are other food options, if you are not a seafood lover, but it is a pity not to try the fresh catch of Long Island cooked to perfection. Tuna is another favourite dish, made either grilled or as a cold salad with a nice mixture of herbs and veggies within. The prices are really competitive, given the quality of the food.

It's hard to know what to say about this restaurant. On one hand, the food is pretty good, but on the other hand, the prices are way high. I knew it was fine dining when I arrived, so I was prepared for that, but I was expecting somewhat larger portions than we received at the price we paid. The service I do have to say was quite good. So it's a mixture. Some people love it here, others don't. I don't know if I'd go back, but my wife really liked it, so maybe we will. I do have to admit the scallops she got were delicious!
