Rocky Point Jewelers Reviews |

They have beautiful things here, and a massive selection! If you are looking for something a little more interesting and maybe a little more ornate than your typical modern jewelry, you will find it here. Their designs are sophisticated, but they have some of the same beauty as vintage jewelry. Whoever stocked their shelves has wonderful taste. And I can tell the gemstones are of excellent quality--as a gemologist myself!

My wife's birthstone is sapphire, but her favorite color is red. She has almost no blue in her wardrobe, and she isn't really a big fan of blue. I wanted to buy her a special necklace for her birthday, but I didn't want to just be like, "here, have sapphires, which I know you won't like."
While I was shopping at Rocky Point, the jeweler there at the counter told me something I never knew. Apparently sapphires come in all different colors, due to mineral impurities or something. And when a sapphire has a certain impurity (chromium I think it is), it turns red, and we call it a ruby. So what do you know. I bought my wife a necklace with rubies on it for her birthday. It's still sort of her birthstone, and it's her favorite color. She loves it and wears it all the time! Yay for clever jewelers who know their stuff.

My husband has bought me several beautiful bracelets and necklaces from this jewelry shop, and I love them all. He has found much more elegance in design here than at other stores. I have come in myself a couple of times since he told me he shops there, and picked out some lovely gifts for friends and family members who are dear to me. It's really a wonderful store, staffed by savvy employees who will tell you all about the beautiful jewelry they sell--where the gemstones came from, who the designers are, and more.
