In the restaurant business, we need a lot of really specific supplies which you can't just pick up at a normal department store. We could order them online or from a mail order service, but ... honestly, there is nothing quite like picking something up and examining its quality firsthand. Plus it is less expensive, what with shipping fees being terrible for heavy cookware and such. And the people who work here are friendly and help us find what we need, and it's great supporting another local LI business. So we'll keep using Restaurant Depot. As far as I know, this is one of the only restaurant supply depots in the area. I save money by shopping here in person instead of going online to order specialty items for the kitchen and tables. They do offer some cool discounts if you come by at the right times. And you don't have to pay for shipping, which as any restaurant owner can tell you, is expensive as all heck online since dishware and utensils are heavy. Dana L from Bayport, NY on Oct 13, 2012
I operate a restaurant in town and this is always where I come when it's time to stock up on kitchen supplies. They carry utensils, dishes and so forth along with safe and effective cleaning supplies for cooking surfaces. I couldn't live without this place. They have some awesome deals throughout the year, and I make sure I never miss them by stopping in regularly. If you run a restaurant anywhere in range, check them out. Share Your Review
