It's cost me an arm and a leg, but at least I've been able to hang onto my stuff. Still I'm going to be relieved when I'm done here and can close my account with them. Like all other rents in New York, this one will cost you a pretty penny--even for one of the smaller units.

Public Storage has been storing my stuff for me for two years. I'm from Bayport, but I've been going to school downtown in Manhattan. I am excited to go back home, but I know I won't be able to get my stuff out of storage for a few more years. After I graduate I'll need to make enough money to buy or rent a larger space, and then I can quit the storage. In the meantime, so far I've been happy with the rates and everything. Since I live nearby, I regularly pick stuff up and drop stuff off, and it's always an easy process. Parking is easy and convenient, and the gate is simple to operate but secure.
