Pizza seems to be one of Long Island's specialties. In most of the towns I lived in before I moved to LI, there was one, maybe two local pizza restaurants, and they were generally overpriced and not that good. Pronto Pizza is one of many great pizza restaurants I have tried since moving here. It seems like there are literally dozens of options, and many of them are outstanding. Pizza Pronto really is pizza pronto! They're very fast. That's why I use them for takeout once a week. Pizza saves me from a couple nights of cooking, and also is good as far as budgeting is concerned, at least when I buy it here. Usually the wait time from my call to the time the pizza is ready is only like fifteen minutes. The longest I ever had to wait was thirty. The time they tell me on the phone is always the time the pizza is actually ready. Never once have I gotten to the store only to be told "We're running behind." It's always right on time, so I can time my drive to pick it up and not waste any time waiting in the restaurant. Italian cuisine has many fans in Long Island. One of the best Italian restaurants in the area is Pronto Pizza Restaurant. It has got many delicious dishes, traditionally baked and cooked and you can also order via the phone and have the food delivered to you pronto, meaning quickly. The pizza is crispy and finely baked in the oven and some of the pasta is home made.
