This program is NOT for the faint of heart. It's daily workout, and it's hardcore. You will be very very tired heheh. And you have to be willing to fork over a little extra money to buy supplements and such as necessary. You can't lose weight/build muscle effectively if you don't eat some extra protein. The program has a number of different phases, and I don't think I could've made it through them all without the help of a trainer. Port Crossfit gives you access to one-on-one assistance with the program. It is MUCH easier than going it alone.
If you're serious about getting fit and losing weight and you're not afraid to do a lot of work, then stop by Port Crossfit and talk to a trainer. As a warning, this isn't suitable if you have a major health problem. A trainer can help you figure out if this is the right program for you and then help you tailor it to your schedule, body type, and so on.

Crossfit is pretty intense, but what can I say? If you stick with it (and you're in good enough health to do it at all), you'll probably lose a lot of weight and build a lot of muscle; I know I have. When I got started last year I somehow missed the fact that you could get in-person coaching. Then I was driving along and saw the Port Crossfit building in East Setauket. What a surprise that was! I stopped in and they got me all signed up for one-on-one coaching right away. The training has been amazing and has really boosted my confidence and tailored the program to fit my body and my schedule.
