Best Mexican food anywhere around here as far as I'm concerned, no quarter. They really knock the socks off of the competition, of which there isn't a whole lot, but hey--that's the east coast. It's great to find a restaurant in the area where I can get good Mexican food. Most of the places around here seem to do Tex Mex, which while good, is simply not the same thing, and doesn't replace traditional Mexican food. Everything i have ever tried here has been fantastic. This is one of those Mexican chicken restaurants where you can get chicken or you can get any number of Mexican dishes. They speak Spanish and English here, which is cool, and they make really tasty sauces. I recommend trying the fried pork ribs—I’m sure they are a heart attack waiting to happen, but they are so worth it. You also gotta try the fried plantain … best I’ve had anywhere around here. Nothing can beat the breaded chicken of the Pollo Rico Chicken Takeout. It is so delicious that you simply can never get enough and you keep coming back for more. There are also some great dishes available, such as the grilled steak and corn meal with sausage, fried eggs and some generous platters with meat and eggs. The menu is all great and filling and the service is top noch. You should pay a visit at the Pollo Rico Chicken Takeout, it is colombian and it is famous for the great flavours and portions.
