My children joined a, "Have a ball league" @ Wildwood lanes. Was told if we prepaid 8 weeks, we'd get their bowling ball within a week, (so they could use it). As they were getting their hands measured by the staff from, Perfect fit, (Coram lanes) suddenly they happen to pick balls that would take two weeks. I called the 13th day leave a message & I called the 14th day and left a message with my name and number asking about the status of the bowling balls. So on the 14 night I reached Bill. Said the balls would be delivered the next day at lunchtime. As I was giving him my telephone number for him to call/confirm he dropped balls off, he hung up on me. When I called back, he was "up on a ladder" & said he didn't realize I was still talking. The 15th day was Thursday it was not delivered, so i called @3pm & reached someone name Adam. He said they didn't even have the balls & they still need to pick them up and drill them. They should be delivered Friday afternoon - the 16th day. I called Friday at noon left a message my telephone number. It is Saturday morning and I still have not gotten a call about the balls being delivered, because had they been Bill, (has my telephone number) would've called me. I'm aggravated that I paid $120 and almost 3 weeks later not only are the bowls not here, but they can't even return a 30 sec phone call w/status. The league is almost over. After moving to town I wasn't sure how to meet new people, and then I thought "Hey, I could try bowling." I found plenty of teams advertising for players, and I sent out a few requests and got some responses. Only then I realized I am a novice and I don't even have supplies! So I went to Perfect Fit Pro Shop after one of the teams recommended it, and picked up a used bowling ball which has been perfect so far. I also was able to get shoes used there too, and I know I saved a lot of money, which is good, because I'm not a very serious player or anything (obviously). I just want to have a social life. So I recommend it if you want to save some money on bowling supplies. And maybe I'll see you at the bowling alley! Share Your Review
