I got an eye exam here once and they were really great. I was worried about a problem I was having, and they explained to me what was going on with my eye and helped me get it fixed. I bought a pair of transition lenses here. They're great, no complaints on that front. The actual visit itself though was a pain in my rear. It took all of two hours for me to sit down, wait for my appointment, have my appointment, and have them figure out the bill after I'd picked out my new frames. I then had to wait another six days for my lenses to be cut and shipped back to me. This apparently is because I have a small bone structure and wear children's glasses, which can't be cut on site. I don't know why, but slow, annoying appointments seem to be more or less ubiquitous in the eye care industry. This was yet another one for me. Steve O. from Centerport, NY on Sep 21, 2012

I like wearing colored contact lenses for my eyes. I prefer them to having to wear glasses. For any eye examination or purchase concerning my lenses or a new pair of sunglasses, I usually go to Pearle Vision. The opticians there are really helpful and kind and do their best to suit your needs. They are affordable in price and they have offers or discounts every now and then. Getting an eye exam and new glasses at Pearle Vision is always pleasant. I've been using them for years, and I've never had a problem. The exam is always done quickly and professionally, and then the fun starts of picking out new glasses.
