A lot of doctors seem to have something lacking when it comes to understanding pain. I saw five different doctors about my fibromyalgia and none of them would prescribe me anything that worked for my pain (some of them refused to write a prescription for anything at all, like they thought I was just an addict or something - very insulting, not to mention ... painful). Finally I came into Pain Care Center, an actual pain management clinic. The doctors here specialize in improving quality of life for people who have problems like mine. It took a few tries to find a medication which works for me, but now that we have, I have significantly better days, and I feel a little more able to get back to some of my previous activities. My life is still pretty crap, but I at least feel like maybe I can make it now. With the painkillers, I feel more able to try things like stretching and yoga, which I hope will make a long term improvement to my condition. Share Your Review
