Of all the chain restaurants I've eaten at, Outback stands out as one of the best. The quality of food and service is outstanding. Usually you don't find this kind of excellence except at small mom and pops places. I thought a few years ago that they were closing, but I'm really glad to see they've survived the recession. They are expensive if you get steak (duh), but it's worth it as a treat now and again! The rest of the menu is just as good, so don't overlook it just because this is a steak place.

This is one of my all time favourite restaurants. They are consistently awesome wherever I go. The prices are steep, but I can understand that. The steaks are divine, and they really do make them to order. Ever go into a restaurant and order a rare steak only to get one that is medium? I hate that. Happens all the time, but never at Outback. Here when I ask for a rare steak, the steak is RED. Just like it should be, nice and juicy.
Everything else here is awesome too. I like that dark bread they bring out before the meal, with the tasty sauce. And the Bloomin' Onion, always a classic. Oh, and they make great mac 'n cheese, believe it or not. It's hard to pull myself away from the steak, but sometimes I get that too. I was pretty surprised the first time my daughter ordered it. I thought "why would you get this at a steak restaurant??" but then I tried it and it was top notch.
