I am almost ashamed of liking this restaurant so much, considering it is a huge company and giant chains usually are something I try and stay away from. But their steak is consistently the most tender, juicy steak I have ever had, and they have some awesome appetizers.

Out of all the chain restaurants I have ever eaten at, Outback is probably the one I am most fond of. It's like the gourmet restaurant of the chain restaurant world. Their steak is amazingly good--as good as any steak I've ever had on Long Island at any local restaurant. While I usually prefer to patron local places, I still have to eat at Outback now and again. It's like a guilty pleasure. I just have to indulge. Plus, they have those grilled shrimp and the tasty dark bread that comes out before the meal. The sauce that comes with the shrimp is perfect for dipping the bread! Something they don't tell you, but a great discovery I've made. I also love the bloomin' onion!

This is still the best chain restaurant in the country, from my point of view. I love how little it's changed over the years. I was under the impression a few years ago that Outback Steakhouses were closing down, but thankfully that didn't happen (recession thing. not sure what it was about now). Their filet mignon is amazing! So juicy. And they know how to do a RARE steak. And I love the bread and the appetizers. I just wish it wasn't so darn expensive.
