The crew that runs this charter is the best! I love charter boats, and I've taken a few here in the area, and this one was the best experience I had. The captain is really great, and the crew was really patient with me learning new things. If I decide to bring a friend with me on a charter boat sometime, it will be this one. I really do think this is the most fun you're going to have on the waters around Long Island.

You really aren't going to find a better fishing charter on LI. I take regular trips with these guys, and I know a lot of other folks do too - there have been more than a few occasions where I've actually recognized people on the charters from previous times. The crew is amazingly friendly, even when their customers are treating them like crap (and yes, this does happen from time to time). I've caught a lot of fish with their help and really improved my skills.
Also, a note about the bathroom. It used to be awful. Positively awful. But now they've upgraded it and it's got lights and running water and it's perfectly pleasant. So if that worries you (if you've seen complaints in older reviews elsewhere on the web), don't worry about it, it's fine now! These guys really care about what they do, and they're constantly upgrading the experience :)

I am a guite busy father of three young boys and i enjoy spending guality time with my children. We all love both the sea and fishing. As a result, we were really excited about our trip with the Osprey Fishing.The whole experience was magnificent. The boys caught a lot of fish and swam out in the open. The prices were vey reasonable. I am looking forward to our next trip.

I found Osprey Fishing a few months ago and decided to treat my fisherman husband to a day on the waters with the pros. It was affordable, and my husband returned home a better fisherman than he left. He enjoyed his day and plans a return trip soon. I would say this is the perfect opportunity for all who enjoy fishing and spending time on the waters.

I don't particularly like fishing personally, but I do love being out on the water and watching other people fish. The folks at Osprey Fishing really know how to make for a fun day of fishing with friends and family. The sail everyday, twice a day I might add, and you can go with friends and family, plus meet other people who might be going at that time. They also offer private charters.
We've been a couple of times, and while my husband has a blast fishing, I just enjoy the ride and the scenery.

Now I’m not a fisherman. In fact, before my friend talked me in to going to the Osprey, I never even held a fishing rod. I was actually kind of scared going into it, really, because I’d never done it before and didn’t know what to expect. But I was surprised by how nice the staff were. They showed me how to use a fishing rod (I had no clue!) and even helped me make my first catch! I got a little bass, but I figure even a little fish is a pretty good catch for a first time fisher.
