My husband had his bachelors party here. While I wasn't there, he and his buds came home and said they had a wonderful time. Good food and fun. Of course I know they went to other places too, but at least they started out on a good course.

Being a newcomer here, I went out looking for a snazzy bar and fine dining jaunt and I was advised by a few of my neighbors to head to O’s Food and Wine Bar. I went and hoped for a wonderful experience and was devastated at what I saw.
The place was decent but certainly not suave enough for a New Yorker like me, who’s used to high town dining. Okay, the music scene is terribly lacking and I was served warm beer, burnt fish fry (with an apology) and terrible dessert.
People say I’ve had a bad day there, and they’ve never heard anything short of perfect service from the place. So, I guess I’ll head there again. Recommend? – Umm. I don’t know – I’ll keep you people updated for when I visit there next.

I came in here years ago when it was Oscar's, and again when it was being refurbished. During the refurbishing I remember some issues, like the fact that they had no red wine, and it seemed like their dishes were more ambitious than their cooks, if that makes sense.
Returning about a year later, I was pleasantly surprised with the strides ahead they'd made. The bar remains a great place to hang out with a friendly bartender (Jenn), and a good crowd, and the restaurant is also great for a sit-down meal. Tapas are delicious, especially the calamari with the BBQ sauce. I'm picky about calamari, and they were well cooked, not too chewy. I'm not a fan of their salmon however; it is a bit fishy for me, and some of their dishes can still be a tad on the salty side. Dessert here is also rather good, had the molten chocolate cake and it was extra rich and delicious. The homemade ice cream was also awesome.
