I needed to get braces for my child, and I was surprised when Dr. Korzenko recommended that I wait. Susan's teeth were so bad that I thought it would be best to fix them right away, but he said it was better to wait a few years until she was older and her jaw/mouth stopped growing and changing. I took her back a few years later to get her started with her braces. She's been doing fine. The doc thinks that she'll be all done within a couple of years. My eldest had braces for like six years - and probably because we had started her out too young. That used to be very common. I'm really glad that orthodontists are starting to figure this out and starting kids out later. It's very honest, and it's definitely saved us a lot of money. Share Your Review
