Lightning struck a tree in my backyard, knocking off one of the branches. But the branch didn't fall off the tree. It was caught there, awkwardly, and it was a safety hazard. I didn't want it to fall on myself or on one of my kids or anything. New York Tree Service went up there and got it down for us safely. They also did us the favor of chopping it up into firewood. I bought some firewood from the New York Tree Service. They delivered it promptly and it was good, dry stuff in great condition. It's burned beautifully and been perfect for my fireplace, just the right size for easy hauling and placement. I will certainly be calling them again next year to stock up for next winter.
