I've been wanting to get into better shape for years now. It's not easy keeping yourself fit when you're chained to a desk for nine hours a day and you spend two more commuting two and from downtown. Ugh. Getting a membership at New York Sports Clubs has really helped me out, because it happens to be near where I live, and it's relatively easy to pop in there on the weekends or after work and take a half hour on the equipment. I don't like working out in the evenings outdoors cause it's night time and my neighborhood isn't the safest place in the world to be after hours. Being able to work out in the gym helps me to stay motivated and not let inconveniences like that stop me from staying in shape.

I use the free weights at New York Sports Club's facilities. The weight rooms are well equipped and have everything I need to work out all my muscle groups. It's always a very relaxed environment (yes, I'm one of those people who considers a good workout as a perfect way to unwind) and the other guys and gals I find in the weight room are usually very friendly and helpful. It's never hard to find someone to spot for me. Nice community atmosphere, well worth my membership fees.
