This is one of our favorite spots to eat in Bayshore; it’s definitely one of the most affordable! A lot of restaurants here are just way out of our range, but this place is always reasonably priced and always delicious. Sitting outside is a bad idea though unless it’s a bright sunny afternoon during the summer. The wind of the water is very cold in the shade—yes, even in the summertime. We usually start out with the salad, which is quite good, and then we both tend to get burgers for dinner, because they make them right here—they’re big and topped with tons of ingredients, and they cook them just the way you like them. The fish and chips (cod) is quite good too, and not too greasy. The sheperd’s pie is not the most authentic I’ve ever eaten, but I can’t complain about it either, because it’s yummy. Save room to try the pumpkin cheesecake for dessert. While we love almost everything about this restaurant, I will warn you service can lag behind schedule a bit when it gets busy, which it often does here, so be prepared to wait for a bit. Doesn’t always happen, but does often enough that we’re ready for it before we get in the car.
