I came here for a quick course in safe driving to brush up on some stuff and get some points taken off my license. The course was fast to complete and the instructors were fabulous. I have always been frightened of driving. Due to an accident that I had been involved in as a child, I could not take the wheel in my hands and not get cold sweat instantly. However, driving is a useful skill and I had to overcome my fear eventually. I went at Mid Island Driving School INC and I told them what the problem was. They were quite sympathetic and tried to make me calm down. We started driving lessons and the teacher was really kind and patient with me. He tried to reason everythingand gradually made me trust my own powers and skills. Finally, I managed to get my drivers licence and I owe it all to the Mid Island Driving School. Thank you, guys! When the time came for my son to start driving, I knew I wasn't the right person to teach him, so I signed him up for private lessons with Mid-Island Driving School. They taught him so much better than I ever could have. I feel a better giving him the keys to the car because I know he was taught well. I wanted to get some points off my license so I signed up for the defensive driving course at Mid-Island Driving School. The fee wasn't bad considering how long the course was, and I really did learn some valuable driving skills. I feel more comfortable driving downtown now, which is great.
