Micky Mo's Cafe & Lounge Reviews
5 out of 5 stars O Holmes from Atlantic Beach, NY on Sep 5, 2014
My friends and I still come here all the time, and we've been doing it for years. We've looked for other places to hang out just to vary things up a bit, but we always find ourselves back here. This place feels almost like home to us now that we've been coming here for so long. There's just no place else quite like Micky Mo's.

Everybody I know hangs out at Micky Mo's. It's weird how long it took me to go, but now that I have, I am addicted. It's just such an awesome hangout spot, and I want to be here all the time. I see myself spending a lot of fun evenings here in the future!

I have spent many pleasant evenings chilling out here and enjoying a beer. They have a good selection on tap, and the atmosphere here is really enjoyable. There are so many regulars here. I see familiar faces every time I am around.

Hands-down the best hang out spot on Long Island.

One of my favorite spots in town to hang out. I've had a lot of fun evenings out here with friends, and I've met a lot of people here too. It's a great community spot.

There is no place like Micky Mo's. The first time my friends and I came here, we were drawn by the name. It seemed like something out of a 1930s noir film or something. You know, the kind of place the detective goes to get information, but he also just goes there to drink and socialize.

So okay, this place is nothing so much dramatic as its name. Certainly won't be writing any detective novels. The crowd here is actually one of the nicest bar crowds I have ever dealt with. I've come in a number of times on different nights, and the people who hang out here always seem to be incredibly friendly. They have really gone out of their way to make this a comfortable, inviting place to be too. In fat, if anything, the ambiance is closer to something you'd see in one of those sitcoms where everyone goes to the same bar every week because it's just so nice.

I have spent many pleasant evenings relaxing at Micky Mo's. This is a cafe with a lot of style. The ambiance is wonderful, the food is delicious, and there is an extensive drink menu. The crowd is usually pretty chilled out, which is awesome. My only complaint is that the prices are a little steep for me. They aren't out of my budget or anything, but they are just higher than I would like--mostly because I'd love to be able to come in here more often than I can. My friends love this place, and I know that other people in my social circle are here even more often than I am. The service is fantastic. There is live entertainment on some nights too--music or comedy.

This is one of the bets spots in town, and no doubt about it. Lynbrook is a small town on LI, and has a small town feel to it, but this is a really popular and busy place. In no way though does that subtract from its small town character. It is just such a nice surprise. Having moved here from Queens, I was worrying I wouldn't find a good hangout. But I'm here several times a week, and it is a great time every time.

I don't mind the prices here at all. This is really the best hang out spot in town. I feel right at home here, never in any rush to leave. The people who work here all know me by name and know what I like to order, and my friends love it here too. If you're looking for a "home away from home" where you can just chill and enjoy yourself with no pressure, then stop on by. Maybe we'll see you there. This really is a place where "everyone knows your name."

Mickey Mo’s Café is a wonderful place for good coffee. My friends and family love hanging out here, and I am ecstatic about coming here often. The prices are a little high, but I love the place and am prepared to shell out a little more money if it brings me value.

Arguably the best place to relax and catch up with friends in Lynbrook! Come here to savor the best steaks in the borough and chill out with jazz playing in the backdrop. The budget is reasonable too. My family loved this place and we’ve officially decided to have our evening-outs here exclusively!

It says that this lounge is in Woodmere, but it's actually in Lynbrook. Anyway, it opens at 5 pm in the evenings and stays open till midnight or three most nights. In terms of music it's very classy; you've got a nice selection of jazz, R&B, and blues most nights. It really is an inviting place with a great atmosphere; a friendly and well stocked bar, dining tables, stage for live music, pool tables. The chairs are cozy and there's even a fireplace.

This is a great place to come and hang out, especially at nighttime when not much is going on. Not much goes on in Lynbrook to begin with, so it's kind of surprising that a place this active even exists. If you're searching for a new regular hangout and you don't want to hang out in just another trashy bar, but want a place which is genuinely comfortable, this is perfect.
