Overpriced and overrated in my opinion. I know that a lot of my friends will think I'm nuts if they read this, but to each his own. They're a popular restaurant, but I think there are better options around if you want to find a great value.

Good food, but the prices are a bit crazy considering that a lot of the food they sell isn't stuff that costs a lot to buy in the first place (for them). I have never seen vegetables marked up to such an absurd price in my life.

Pretty good fine dining restaurant (as far as taste goes), though I'd argue the value depends largely on what you choose to get, and unfortunately just judging from the menu, this restaurant is actually trying to buy low and sell high. The entrees mostly range between $20 and $30. Within that range you can get vegetables, pasta, fish, or poultry. To me it only makes sense to get something which actually fits within that value. I wouldn't pay $20 for grilled vegetables! And $28 for tilapia? Crazy. Oh wait - tilapia and shrimp are like, the only seafood this restaurant sells.
To be fair, nice atmosphere. And the food IS good. I'd just rather have bought lobster or something along those lines at that price than tilapia, cheapest fish there is ...

Mezza Note Restaurant is surely one of the best restaurants in the city. I had a fun time dining there and highly recommend the service to everyone looking for a place to wine and dine. The music is a huge plus too.

Mezzanote Restaurant has a great list of veggies and meat delicacies to satisfy every palate. Plus, you have an exquisite range of cocktails too. The ambience is great and the restaurant on the whole, is remarkably affordable. WOW!
I’ve always wanted to go to Mezzanote and last night, landed there with my family in tow. The kids were excited about having a green steak and my spouse, who as a veggie has a tough time with us, was surprised and happy to find a whole list of green items on the menu. We all treated ourselves to a Chevy in the end, and we’ll sure come over again!

As a lover of food and one who loves to dine out, I am always searching for new restaurants to try out. Somehow Mezzanote restaurant is a long-time favorite that I have missed. Now that I have had the chance to experience the divine food and impeccable service, it will be a place that I frequent.
The entire visit was perfect. I was quickly greeted, seated and served by a knowledgeable server who made great recommendations. I was taken aback by the luxurious deco of the restaurant, as well as the lively yet comforting environment.
My food arrived at my table in perfect appearance, hot, fresh and most fragrant. I ordered a steak paired with grilled vegetables and was pleased with the large portions that filled my plate.
This upscale restaurant is expensive, but it is one that you must try at least once in your life. I have not tasted a better steak in a long time, nor been honored with such quality service.

Wow, a place where you can order a plate full of vegetables! Seriously, it's really hard to find tasty vegetarian food. There's a lot of meaty stuff here too (especially veal), but if you're a vegetarian you'll find a LOT to eat. The full plate of grilled veggies tastes amazing and it really is a FULL plate.
And then there's the desserts ... don't get me started. Sometimes I come in here just to get dessert, cause this is an expensive restaurant, and I can't afford to eat here as often as I'd like. Desserts ... try the Biscotti, the chocolate mousse, the cannoli (of course), and the homemade cheesecake! I am picky about cheesecake; I only like it if it's really good, and here I love it!

I usually go to fine dining restaurants when in NY, only because I figure if I want home cooking, I can get it at home. Boy was I wrong. Mezzanote had home cooking like I’ve never tasted before. The food is presented better than at most of the fine restaurants I have been to, and the portions are way better than those dainty plates the fancy restaurants provide. The only thing I didn’t like was having to pick dessert, because there were so many yummy looking choices. In the end I went with the Napoleon, and for that alone I’ll be back soon.
