We have a very large house, which is why it seemed like an ideal place to host our reception for our daughter's wedding. It was a way to save money, and the house is beautiful, and the party was more special since it was in the home she grew up in.

The only drawback was that we realized we needed to make it spotless so that it would be perfect in all the photos (not like it stayed that way!). We didn't think about this until the last minute unfortunately, so we didn't have time to do the job ourselves. Then we thought, why not just hire someone else to clean it? So we contacted Merry Maids. They sent two nice girls over to do the job within a few hours, and they spent the day cleaning the floors, the walls, the trim, everything. The house has actually never been so spotless or mold free. It wasn't that expensive either! We might actually do it again sometime, special occasion or no! Share Your Review
